And the Beginning of a New Week

This week is starting well enough. I'm catching up on my homework. Just Add Math & Modern Math left. Not too bad. I've managed to wrap up Chemistry and Physics. Alhamdulillah.

Today we I sorta skipped PJ to chat with Haziq a bit. Quite an interesting conversation we had. Though none of which I will reveal as techincally, it's considered a session. Rather (personally) sensitive topics came up... But it was also somewhat of a wake up call for me but I won't delve into the details. Perhaps another time. Perhaps.

Anyway, tomorrow Pn. Liza should be beginning the English oral test. Provided she steps in of course. I've done my research on what I'm going to talk about. Too bad we won't be doing presentations. Just a speech. Oh well.

I missed lunch with Liyana today. I feel really bad about it. Sure I passed her some money -- 'cause I always buy her lunch -- but it isn't the same. *sigh*.

Sneakers & Sandals

As the title suggests, this has something to do with footwear. It's difficult to find footwear that will last at least 3 years in terms of not falling apart. Most will fall apart after 3 months. My current sneakers held up for about a year+ thankfully. But now it's falling apart so I need a new one. No more Nike for me. But I'm still not getting Adidas. Yes, I'm a Nike person for life. Dreaming of Edward Cullen, Girls?

Why must you girls dream and idolize Edward Cullen to such an extent? There are some guys who have given up hope on finding a girl 'cause you gals keep comparing us with him. Others have actually started to wish they were Edward Cullen. You girls are going to cause some guys to commit suicide if you keep it up. What is it that makes Eddie so desirable? Is it his quotes? The way Stephanie Meyer describes him? I don't see you talking about the plot. This leads me to assume that the only reason you girls buy the books are for Edward. How is the plot? OK? The best? Or is it Edward that is the best? I believe it is the last one. Is Edward THAT dreamy? I fear sooner or later some poor soul will commit suicide because his girl demanded him to be exactly like Edward (not me. My girl hasn't read Twilight -- I think) but being merely human, not fictional, he couldn't. PLEASE! Enlighten me!

The Last Weekend

Lue has left back for Canada. :( This past Saturday, we went to watch Gulliver's Travels. It was a fun movie. Jack Black really likes his rock and roll. Hehehe! Of course, I'm not complaining, the guy can actually sing. Before the movie, Akid was kind of hunting around for a camera. We had bought a Sony Cybershot TX-9 sometime back but about two weeks ago, it got stolen. :(. I won't delve into the details. Quite disheartened by that incident. So he was seriously considering a DSLR which is kind of unfair because I've always wanted one but I never pushed for it because it cost so much. I guess I can be a bit more careful with money than my little brother. We woke up early the next day because we needed to send Lue to the airport. :(. It was fun having her around.
